cherishing the hunts

Hunts has been less interested in nap time lately. I know that it's kind of unusual that my almost 4 1/2 year old is still taking a nap, but I will push it as long as I can. We celebrate naps in our house! Anyway, she did end up falling asleep the other day on top of her quilt, and I couldn't resist taking a picture of her. Ami was completely shoved inside of her shirt and Huntleigh's hair was all curly from sweat. I snuggled up with her and woke her up slowly. These are the moments I cherish in my heart.

And on a side note, tonight as I was putting her to sleep, Huntleigh told me whom she was going to marry. She got this really cute/embarrassed look in her eyes and her voice lowered and she covered her mouth and I knew she was going to say, "Tanner." She did. And so I said, "What about Seth?" And she replied, "Saph has weird toys." (I guess the mystery bag has been too revealing on "Saph's" behalf.) I probed again: "What about Bennett?" And she said, "No. He shoots me with guns." [Silent reflective pause.] "And I don't like his hair." Okay. That's cool. At the end of the day, her top choice is still "Daddy," which is fine by me. I will gladly welcome a son-in-law who is like my husband. We have a few years to relax until that time, I suppose.

btw, LSF still naps about 3 times a week!! He just turned 5 and I'm holding out as long as possible. Don't think LN will last as long though.
