one.

This is my one year old. Her birthday got totally neglected this year other than the several renditions of "Happy Birthday" that were sung to her throughout the day. Poor girl. She'll never remember. She'll never know that we're just celebrating her birthday a month late. And when she discovers this when she's older and blames me for how I love Huntleigh more than her, I'll tell her that's true. No. I'm just lazy. No. I forgot. No. We had lice. (Lice sucks. Have I mentioned that?) She can blame them, the boogers.

I love this cracker-eating, easy-going, independent, strong-willed sweetheart. She is a child full of joy and life and has an amazing personality, even at her young age. Happy Birthday, Lucy Lennox.

I thought I could never love a niece more then Huntleigh then Lucy came along and her quite, cheerful and loving presence brought a peace to many hurting hearts. She came into this world in the midst of chaos and just like any second child she adapted quite well. Life in general is chaotic and maybe we should all follow in Lucy's little footsteps - love people fiercly and follow them around until they get annoyed (Huntleigh)...

I love you sweet Lucy, you made my heart bigger when you came into this world!!! I now can't imagine loving anyone as much as I do you and Huntleigh!!!

That is too funny...we haven't officially celebrated Drew's first birthday either! Our poor second children! I hope they aren't scarred from this! :)
