mad marchness

Just kind of an overview as to what we've been up to lately:

Being cute.
lovey

Being cheeky.

Being freaked out. There were these old framed Tour de France posters that were kind of filling wall space in the guest bedroom and Lucy has told me for months now, "No me like. No me like that." I just told her to not worry about it, but when Josh and I got home from a trip and saw that my mom had covered up one of them with a robe, I thought maybe I was kind of being an insensitive mom, so I finally replaced them with something Lucy liked a bit more. She does look genuinely concerned in this picture, I suppose.

Being good children. Here we are with my parents at an auction for the school where my dad is the headmaster. We always enjoy our time at this auction when we're able to make it and this time we scored some awesome packages! We mastered the silent auction this year....even though Josh didn't come home with that Harley. Oh well. There's always next year.

Being squashy. Josh has been playing squash for about one year now and he entered his first tournament which took us to Chicago, yet again! It was actually the first time I've even seen him play. He didn't win his division, but it was a great learning experience for him and a great shopping experience for me. Seriously though, I was the supportive wife and did watch his matches...and I also had a little bit of fun on Michigan Avenue. So it was a win-win.

Being brunchy. While we were in the Windy City, we visited our new favoritest place EVER for brunch. The Publican. Our good friends Glen and Audrey led us there in October and we will not fail to go from here on out. Check out that Bloody! It's a meal in a cup and it comes with its own beer on the side. When you're in Chicago next, you gotta go there.
