movin' on up

Well, I am proud to say that Lucy has finally graduated from her pack n' play to her "big girl" toddler bed. I think I feel like less of a bad mom by knowing that she is sleeping on an actual mattress and no longer some super hard cardboard. She completely loves it. She was ready for the change. She does still sleep in her little corner of the guest bedroom, but one thing at a time, right? I mean, the poor child sleeps in between a filing cabinet and a cigar humidor....the next best thing we could give her was her hand-me-down toddler bed. Look at how happy she is. We've only found her sleeping underneath the guest bed a couple times. Other than that, she's done just perfectly. Next big change: no more diapers. If anyone is in the market for a lightly used, light pine sleigh crib, let me know.

What? No more babies in your household? You know the best way to ensure you WILL have more is to get rid of your crib, right? That's why we still have ours...

that is so cute! yeah for you guys!!! i've always felt bad too that my kids slept in a pack-n-play instead of a crib. you're right, that mattress just isn't made for years of sleeping in but then they didn't seem to mind and they loved that they could get in there by tossing themselves over the side and plowing down on in.
i actually got a crib for this third one coming. but we'll see if he uses it...

i love lucy's little library inside her bed. so fun!
