done with snow

I've had it with snow for this year. Don't get me wrong....I do love snow. I've grown up with snow, living most of my life in Chicago and upstate New York, but having young children in winter is another whole story. The layers, the accessories: it's like Ralphie's little brother on "A Christmas Story." I'm pretty certain Huntleigh has lost about 5 pairs of mittens this winter which I am really hoping to find in the lost and found at school.

Here is our 2011 snowman. I was impressed. I had nothing to do with it.

We took our sledding adventure at Art Hill this year. Lucy did make it down the hill one time and then sat in the car for remainder of our excursion, while the rest of us had fun fighting the sleet flying in our faces. Ouch. Let's just say next year we'll wait until the sun comes out to get on our sleds. Poor Huntleigh. I hope she wasn't scarred for life.
