pearl harbor

Josh and I had the opportunity to visit Pearl Harbor while here and I'm so glad we did. I found it to be a very powerful memorial. We first took a tour of the USS Bowfin and I could have photographed these valves and wheels all day.

The top of the sunken USS Arizona sticking out of the waters behind me. Oil still seeps out of the ship, almost seventy years later.

I also found it to be a very moving experience. Very sobering. So glad you got to see the Wood family. Joanie
